MEET YOUR COACH
ANGELA M. ODOM
Angela M. Odom is a life and personal development coach for women in supervisory positions. She is the creator of the S.O.A.R Success System, a framework that teaches ambitious women leaders how to amplify their skills and innate talents to earn more respect and revenue.
In 2015, Angela, a BRONZE STAR recipient, retired from the U.S. Army after having led men and women during wartime and peacetime environments. In 2016, she published her first book, Bronco Strong: A Memoir of the Last Deployed Personnel Services Battalion on Amazon, earned her personal development certification in 2017 and contributed to a leadership book, Camouflaged Sisters: Leadership Through the Eyes of Senior Military Women in 2019, that is an amazing mentoring toolkit. In 2021, she published her first children's book, Golom's Magical Gamers.
Fast forward to today and Angela continues to lead in community focused organizations. She was selected as the Chapter Member of the Year in 2018 - 2019 and the committee she co-leads was selected as the Committee of the Year for 2017-2019 and she was invited to serve on the Advisory Board Member for the AARP-GA in 2019.
Angela is the host of a weekly podcast, the Better U Leadership, which focuses on topics to teach women how to lead themselves and others.
Angela earned two Master’s Degrees; one in Human Resources Management and another is Strategist Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
Besides coaching and empowering women, Angela is learning how to parent her favorite teenager, trying new dishes, and engaging with interesting people.
